“Lots of variety if you like flea markets and bazaars”

Mile Hi has a mixed bag of vendors including fresh produce and antiques, but also true flea market items and cheap electronics. A fun venue if you like this kind of attraction. Bring a hat and sunscreen, as the venue has no shade and can get very hot in the summer. Also, if you bring kids be prepared to be begged to go on the cheesy carnival rides they have.

“Go on a Saturday, arrive around 11am”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

My family has been to the Mile High Market Place (formerly the Mile High Flea Market) several times for over 10 years. It costs $2.00 a person for entry. There is plenty of paved parking and many entry points into the shopping areas from the lots. The entire shopping area is asphalt and therefore easy to get around. People with children bring a wagon as this is a large area and kids get tired quickly. The current set up places all of the prodcue in one area called the Farmer's Market, all of the antiques in Antique Alley, a Midway of Amusement Rides, many permanent vendors in buildings, and then a whole lot of vendors who set up just for the day - - often good "treasures" are found at these booths. There is also an Event Center where concerts and other entertainment is scheduled. There are food booths throughout the grounds, and while we have eaten there in the past, we did not purchase any food or drink on our last visit. Lastly, musical acts are scheduled to perform on stage in the seating area of the food vendors. We listened to the band as we walked by, and they were pretty good (plus it was free and a nice way for people to be entertained while eating lunch). Be sure to go the website as there are coupons for discounted entry fees and discounts on ride tickets. We normally go on a Saturday and try to arrive around 11am as the majority of vendors are set up and ready to sell for the day. On this visit we made it through the entire Market Place in 2 hours, but in previous visits we have spent as much as 4 hours shopping. Like others have said, there is something for everyone, and each time we go, we are able to find something.

“Nothing like it used to be”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

We visited this flea market in 2007 and again this year and nothing has changed. Hardly any vendors on a Friday and the ridiculous fee of $2 per person (cost us $12 as there were 6 of us in the vehicle) to get into a flea market! For this price, there should have been way more than there were and more variety. Practically every vendor had the same things. We bought a few items but didn't stay long. There were no events going on either. A suggestion: Charge a small parking fee of say $3 and let that be it. Add some additional vendors with other items to sell. If that doesn't change, we will not waste our time when going through Denver again.

“Something for everyone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

We spent Friday morning looking for bargins. We took our three grandsons nine, twelve, and sixteen they enjoyed shopping almost as much as we did. They have amusement rides,
lots of new and used items as well as a farmers market. The only downside is the heat but plenty of places to sit in the shade. You can also rent a shopping cart or a wagon for 2.50. Admission is two dollars for 12 years and older.

“Mostly rumage sale items”

A lot of nice venders in covered buildings. Most of the venders were outside on the pavement. In the summer the heat is awful. Some good local food products.
