Your first impression of Venice is the greeting from restaurateur primo Nunzio. Nunzio infuses the restaurant with energy, warmth, and style.
Seating is often fun in the bar area, or along the windows in the dining room. Daily specials add life to the "regular" menu which features such dishes as lobster ravioli, wild boar on polenta, or any of the wonderful veal, chicken, or pasta presentations. Service is always impeccable and if there is ever a glitch the ever present Nunzio is there with an immediate resolution, a glass of wine, and a warm handshake.

We just had dinner there and loved it! We were celebrating the end of summer. We did make a reservation...which is a must at this sweet little place. At first I thought the little table in the bar would be annoying, but it was perfect. There was only one other table occupied in that area...so it was very intimate. Our waiter was professional as was the entire staff. We had an appetizer, a salad and an entree. We split each one of those....they actually did the split in the kitchen which is a plus! A friend surprised us and picked up our check....waiter handled that with CLASS! Great food and fine wine! Can't wait to go back!

Went for my birthday and was not disappointed. Osso bucco was wonderful with a nice rich wine infused sauce served with fettuccine noodles. Enough to take home. They have several specials and we ordered the rigatoni with chicken and mushrooms to share. The waiter was accommodating sividing the dish between 3 of us. The sauce was great and made the dish. Third dish was the shrimp/lobster ravioli. Another winner. The drinks were reasonably priced considering the type of restaurant this is. The tiramisu was light and airy and just the right size. We were seated immediately, reservations recommended.
Started with calamari which was quite tender, but the batter was a bit bland, though the marinara sauce was excellent. One of the best we've had and that is saying a lot as we have close friends who are Italian, and they make fantastic homemade sauce. Venice's is a contender.
A pleasant experience overall.
We would return for sure.

Very enjoyable experience. Not an inexpensive meal, but worth it. Pastas were nicely prepared and all in unique sauces -- not a generic sauce used on every dish. The salumi and cheese plate on the appetizer menu would be a meal by itself!
