We wee happy to find a 3 course tasting menu which included a small plate salad, medium sized delicious pasta dish and full sized entree!!! The sea bass was wonderful and my husband had prawns the size of a fish!!! Inviting, lofty feel to this restaurant and a beautiful fireplace in the entry wall.............

My husband and I enjoy the monthly festa regional menu that is available at the beginning of every month. It allows us to try new foods and read up on the area of Italy that is being highlighted. In addition, we enjoy the staff and warm atmosphere of the restaurant.

We had a large party, made reservations well in advance and the waitestaff could not even keep our water glasses full. Meals were hit and miss, three of our party where vegetarian and fifteen minutes after we placed our order where informed that they would need to make other selections. This is while others were getting their meals.

We went here for the first time the other night, and we will definitely be going back! Great atmosphere, great service, and even greater food and wine! They also have a great non-alcoholic drink list. After having the Soup of the Day, my fiancee enjoyed the Capellacci di Zucca (Ravioli with butternut squash), and I had the Tagliata Chianina (Beef Tenderloin with balsamic vinegar). Both were excellent! We finished our meal with coffee and Crema al Doppio Gusto...mmmmm!! Great service and atmosphere topped off a wonderful evening that we will repeat very soon!

Visited IL Forniao for the second time ths year. Obviously we found the food good on our first visit and were not disappointed on this visit either. The waiters do need to be more professional about their look... Our waiter had several (red) wine stains on his white jacket and there were visible holes on the jacket in several areas. They need to check each other out a bit more before going out on the floor to serve, and have a back up jacket if the one they have on is stained.
Otherwise the staff was attentive and conscientious. Portions we a bit on the small side Raviolli) but overall the quality was good
