We frequently eat at the Elephant Bar in Greenwood Village. The food is invariably good with plenty of variety; the service is excellent, even when they are busy (which is almost all the time); they are amenable to substitutions; and the atmosphere is pleasant if a bit noisy. What's not to like? Actually, what I like best is the fact that the plates, glasses, and flatware are always CLEAN. None of those icky dried flecks of food that didn't come off in the dishwasher, which I've encountered in plenty of restaurants that I've written off for that very reason. (Thanks, Elephant Bar, for caring about your customers!!)
I can't speak for the other Elephant Bars in the area, but this one is top-notch. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that they do try to sell up, which can be mildly annoying when all you want is an entree and a glass of water with lemon, no appetizer, no mixed drinks, no dessert. But then, this is to be expected. It's done everywhere anymore.
