Chinook Tavern is a very updated take on a tavern so to speak. It is modern, clean and comfortable. You know how some contemporary restaurants lack atmosphere. This restaurant is a perfect mix of the old and the new. The food is deliciously reliable. The atmosphere is a mix of urban southwest with a metropolitan wood slant. Right off I 25 in Southern Denver but you would never know it is near the highway. It just has great atmosphere. It is a restaurant where you can have a good conversation while you enjoy your food.

After a tiring meeting with client, we hit to this place along with my boss. We wanted to have some beer but the bar was almost completely occupied, we got seat although. The dinner was excellent and the staff very friendly and always with warm smiles.

I went here for an office function and ordered the ravioli, it was cold. My husband ordered a chicken salad, the chicken was missing. They didn't have enough spaces for everyone to sit even though reservations had been made weeks before hand. It might have been a one time fluke but I won't go back to find out.

doused with lemon and spice, but not too much (like those swimming in Texas pete or Cholula)..and then baked...a hint of crispy on the outside with tender morsels inside..with a glass of Sonoma Cutrer: BRAVO.
LOVE the atmosphere: very bright and big and open and fun. Chef Marcus and Chef Tim sat with us for a quick minute and made it fun!
