Nice little place to stay! Very clean, inexpensive. I a great town. Great place to stay after you've completed the Trail ridge road drive! Plenty of nice places to eat close by and nice old fashion town.

I was traveling with my elderly mother and small dog and stayed five nights. Loved the location, close to everything and especially the Hub Coffee house across the street for morning coffee. All very welcoming to dogs!

The room was very clean, rustic as Grand Lake usually is and especially loved the comfortable beds! Had five excellent nights of sleep.

The lodge is right on the busy main st. It was very clean, staff was Ok. For $142 including tax we got two rooms with privacy :] The concern that I have, pillows were too flat almost invisible, with no air conditioner- you can't close the windows so you hear teenagers partying all night-our room is facing East and the vacant lot(drive way) next to it-the noise made it worse..so if you pick the room to the East-expect to have a quiet sleep at 2-3a.m.
Ohh-they have internet but it's on and off-not dependable

Room Tip: Pick the West side or middle cabin-not East-and request or bring your pillows to avoid stiff neck

We rented snowmobiles from this establishment on the spur of the moment. Should have checked them out first. To be fair, I did cause some damage to the machine, but not to the extent that was charged to me. Damage was found on the snowmobile which couldn't have been a result of MY accident. That leads me to believe that I paid for damage which had already occurred. Based on the owners assessment it appeared to me they were trying to maximize the damage to their monetary favor. There are other rental establishments in the area, I suggest you find one.

We took our out of town relative to Grand lake after the holidays for some great Rocky Mountain snowmobiling siteseeing. We stayed at this hotel because they also rented snowmobiles right there and they had a hot tub. We were made to sign a contract saying the machines were in good order when we left (how the heck would we know that?!) They assured us this is standard. Long story short, when we came back for the evening, they told our visitors that they had broken something (nothing was broken!) and they had charged thier credit card $300 plus more dollars for parts. After those angry words, we changed and went to the hot tub to relax and there was one of the employees and his girl friend in the tub in a very compromising position. Manager didn't care and would not adjust our bill to reflect how very unhappy we were with thier services!

Room Tip: We have found that the front desk clerk is your very first clue as to how your room, the services and your stay will be. If they don't treat you as if they care about, they don't and your stay will reflect that!
