The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar and the people were fun. The drink was well mixed, tasting great. We will go back several times a year. A great place to snowmobile. One thing if you are particular about your pillow I would take my own. They are on the hard and flat side.

This Inn was perfect for our stay with several friends. Convenient location, great atmosphere, clean rooms, friendly staff, and fantastic lodging. We enjoyed the stay so much that we plan on staying here more often with friends not only for annual snowmobile trips but summer fun on the lake as well. The lounge provided an excellent view and fun place to hang out. The deck and patio in the summer would be great too. Perfect mountain retreat but mattress needed to be put out to pasture. With so much to do in town and in the outdoors, this is a perfect place to stay.

We spent two nights here for a weekend birthday getaway from Denver. When I called to make the reservation I was greeted warmly and they were very friendly, as they were at check-in. Love the decor... the log furniture and rustic decorations in the rooms are very nice, makes you feel like you are in a cabin in the woods. We had a lake view overlooking Grand Lake, and could see the deck and hot tub from our room. The bar seemed nice, and always had people including locals, during happy hour. We didn't partake because we were busy, but looked fun and inviting. Very close to RMNP, just a mile or so from the entrance, and a very short drive into Grand Lake downtown as well. All in all a decent stay, and the staff was very friendly. They have a cabinet full of games in the entrance if you need to be occupied with something indoors.

The things we were iffy on: the hot tub seemed clean but was not very hot, and there were towels and beer cans strewn on the ground that needed to be picked up. Guests should be nicer than that...kinda just turned us off and we didn't use the hot tub our second night...was more lukewarm than hot. The bed was also horribly uncomfortable which didn't make for a good night's sleep. The bed we had in room 213 was sunken in in the middle and just not good, woke up with a sore back both mornings.

Enjoyed our stay here. Had a view of the lake. Since we were there on a holiday, it was empty but it was nice to feel like we had the place to ourselves. Used the fitness center, but unfortunately it was way too cold to venture out to the hot tub. Rooms are nice, big and clean. We had a king bed, balcony and gas fireplace (plus a refrigerator). It's the 'newest' place in the town. We checked out other places ahead of time and they are all pretty rustic and run down....but rates are the same. We would definitely stay there again. Would be even better if they offered AAA/AARP discount and had a bigger menu in the lounge/bar.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra to have a balcony and be on the lake side.

The stay was ok. Mattress was thin. The complimentary shampoo and lotion were used. I picked this Inn because the location is closed the Park entrance. However, I prepaid the reservation online. After the staying, I got charged again. I tried to contact the Inn, no resolution was made. The credit card company tried to contact them for me. The result was no response from the Inn. If you were me, you 're better to have a second thought.
