As a light sleeper, I'm always wary of hotels close to the Interstate, as this one is. However, the hotel is built in a "courtyard" design, and the rooms facing the courtyard do not get any noise from traffic or arriving/departing guests. Further, the hotel is quite new, and the furnishings are in great shape and the large room was very clean and inviting. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend the Clarion.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the courtyard.

The Clarion Inn is an older property but very clean & well maintained & location by freeway is convenient. We stayed 2 nights so we could tour Colorado National Monument on a day trip which was a good decision. The hotel is large & has all convention amenities one could ask for. We used the convenient business center facilities. Freebies at happy hour were enjoyed & appreciated & all staff was friendly & helpful. Fine dining Italian restaurant is on the property. Our room was quiet, spacious, well furnished & with a good king bed.
On the downside, there was NO micro or fridge in the room & an old style TV which very poor cable reception. That TV should be replaced! Breakfast was standard fare...nothing special. Overall not a bad stay which suited our purpose even though we might have considered it overpriced due to lack of micro & fridge. However we made use of Choice Privileges points to cover one night's rate so that offset those considerations. The National Monument is worth your time to explore....a fantastic display of rock formations & scenery.

An excellent choice. Nice, well-maintained, large property, but beware of second floor rooms as there is no elevator. Some rooms have direct access to the beautiful, large courtyard/pool area. On-site Italian restaurant is reasonable priced, or go to Village Inn right next door. Also several fast food places in the area. Because the rest of the property is so nice, I was expecting a somewhat better free breakfast, but it was still a lot better than a lot of lesser hotels.

Close to Colorado National Monument, which is a “must see” in the area.

My room has wired Ethernet which was fairly fast. Better than most hotel wireless connections.

We stay for three nights while visiting Palisade, CO. Friendly service, nice outdoor and indoor pool for the kids. We booked a suite. It was nice to have the extra room plus had a refrigerator too. A nice complimentary breakfast is included too. Hotel location provides easy access to all the area attractions too.

We recently had our family reunion in Grand Junction. Since I had stayed at the Clarion Inn before, I recommended to my family to try getting a room there. The hotel staff was so accommodating to the family. They were professional, courteous and very friendly. Everything that we asked for, we recieved. The rooms were fantastic. Very clean and very quiet. Even when there was a childrens birthday party inside, (we had a suite that opened to the atrium), we did not hear a thing. And the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.
We even got a nice surprize when one of the employees came out to the outside pool to let us know that, with the storm rolling in, we would have to go inside. (tourists you know.) So we begrudginly went to the inside pool. What a nice surprize. With the windows overhead, we could see the lighting and hear the thunder as the storm passed. And in the safety of the inside pool. It all worked out just fine.
Some of the people that assisted us were. Amy at the front desk for helping everyone make reservations. Denise for assisting with making accommodatios for the folks that needed downstairs rooms. Brierton for getting my cousin the fridge so he could keep his medicine cold. Michela, for giving excellent directions to get to all of the places, all of us keep asking for. Steven, for helping us move a couple of the tables in the atrium, so some of the family could sit together and chat.Tammy and Sandy for helping out with information regarding the kids and shuttle services to the airport and downtown (that is a great idea, thanks!) Cindy and emily for getting the breakfast out and helping my husband with the waffle maker.
I also wanted to say that we were pleasantly surpirzed with Pantuso's. We all went ther on Friday night and Saurday night after our family get togethers. Some of us did eat dinner in there a couple of times. Quite good. Better that the other place that used to be there.
So, with that being said, I will be back in the fall and will be staing at the Clarion Inn once again.

Room Tip: Just tell the staff what you want and they will get it for you.
