“Excellent winery to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2010

My wife and I visited perhaps 12 wineries in the Grand Junction area, and this was one of the best. Interesting location, pretty vistas, and good wine, especially the Viognier. Our server was the owner, which greatly enhanced the visit. I would recommend making this one of your tasting stops. They have some tables outside, where we ate the lunch that we brought. This was a good place to picnic, pretty quiet, out-of-the-way, and good vistas.

“Not surprised this one rated #1 of Grand Junction wineries”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2010

After visiting several of the 25+ wineries in Grand Junction, this was our best experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, greeted us when we entered (fairly unusual we found) and had the best wines of the places we visited. On the other end of the spectrum was Two Rivers Winery, which was unfriendly, unprepared for more than about 6 visitors at a time, and sold us a bottle that leaked. There are 3 other wineries in this part of Grand Junction, known as the Mesa Wine Trail and we recommend all of them, but Whitewater Hill was the best of the best.

“Best tasting wine, friendly & knowledgable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2010

Friend's visitng from out of town wanted to tour some of the local wineries. This was the last winery we visted on our tour for the day. All 4 of us agreed that this place was our favorite. We toured Plum Creek & they were good, Carlson Vineyard's staff was grumpy & didn't want to wash dishes so gave us plastic cups- won't be returning there. This place had the greatest girl who was very knowledgable & the gentlemen who's wife ran the vineyard was very helpful & friendly as well! My fav was the the Shiraz!!! Will def be returning!
