“It's a Taco dive, so put your 5-star dreams to the side...”

Yes, it's greasy, yes, it's a dive, so put your preconceived notions to the side. This place gives you more than what you pay for. It's a greeat place for a late night hangover cure, great place for a cheap eat, and a great place to get some tasty food. Try the "Super Fries", but make sure you order a half-order and have it smothered (with pork green-chile). The half-order is a large styrofoam container filled to the brim with fires, covered in guac, sour cream, and lots of greasy cheese. Yum-o! The burritos are HUGE, and they have some of the best breakfast burritos in town! You need to realize before hand that it's a taco dive, with greasy food, and you'll be just find. Those who review this and complain about that fact, need to do their research and understand what kind of place they're eating it prior to them eating there, it'll make for a better review. It's like eating and McDonald's and comparing it to Spago's or something, come on folks. Los J's is the place to be.

I like going to los for chili relanos or some of the very large buritos, I can't get my wife to go there because of the atmosphere, it is a somewhat fast food place, and some of the people in there @#$$%& what can be said not a place for a date, but definatly ok for me

My wife and I like to go to inexpensive restaurants for our date nights. This place is at the top of ourlist. THe food is excellent. Their burritos are HUGE and SOOOO good. Probably one of the biggest burritos I've ever eaten. Definitely filling!!!! You know it's good when you're so full and stuffed but you keep eating just to put down the last few bites. I've had the Mixed Burrito and the Chicken Burrito and both were very good. Definitely a great hole-in-the-wall joint if you're looking for something very affordable, filling, and delicious

This is that low end tacqueria you go to when you're drunk or whatever. Just below average to average Mexican food, tacqueria style, not tex mex. Styrofoam plates and plastic spoons, etc. It certainly has it's place, but don't have high expectations eating here.

I think they are open 24 hours, which makes it likely the only tacqueria open all night in Grand Junction, and one of very few restaurants open all night in the city (Dennys, Village Inn, etc.). Like I said, due to this, it has it's place.

I would be careful to go there late at night, especially on weekends, due to the drunks and wannabe gangbangers that hang out in the parking lot and in that area in general.

If you got the munchies, and want an artery clogging greasy burrito and such, this place will satisfy. Just don't expect it to be anything special. The locals call it Los Gatos or Los Caballos, due to a rumor years ago that they were selling horse meat.
