“Nice walk”

Downtown Grand Junction

Spend any time in downtown and you quickly discover that this town goes to bed way before sunset. While most of the merchants welcome you and your dog, you have very few options for eats with your four legged friend as they are not welcome even outside in the hot sun. (City Code) We enjoyed walking around but all of the businesses were closed on a Saturday at 5:30. So come enjoy the art and take your dog to the park for a picnic to go dinner from one of the online restaurants. Also note no dogs at the Farmer Market.

City planners designed downtown Grand Junction to boast myriad treasures....art, shopping, historical buildings, excellent restaurants (including outdoor European-style dining), fairs and markets, music venues... It's a must-see and experience for anyone visiting our charming city!

My advice is to never find yourself in Grand Junction. The Art is OK, the people are weirdly unfriendly and act like they are too good to talk to anyone else. The monument is cool but you aren't missing anything if you never make it to this town.

You'll not find a more appealing downtown anywhere. Beautifully planned and developed including shopping, restaurants and easy access parking. The farmers markets during the summer months are not to be missed.

Downtown Grand Junction is a jewel. Whether you are looking for a unique gift, some yummy food and drink, or want to peruse some art...Downtown is the place to go!
Thursdays in the Summer are Farmer's Market days. Most businesses are open later, and there's always fun to be had!
Be aware that alot of stores are closed on Sunday. :(
