“Nice stay for the night”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

This hotel provided a good sized bathroom, grab bar in the tub, comfortable beds, only one luggage rack but did have multiple electrical outlets through out the room, and I especially appreciated the extra plugs in the bedside lamp.

Great location for seeing downtown GJ and environs. Hotel has been well kept up for it's age. Quiet in the south wing, not so sure about the north wing overlooking the pool area. Within a short walk to two great restaurants and several cafes for breakfast. Good bike shops and other retailers as well

This hotel is located on Main Street in downtown Grand Junction, which was a great location for dining choices. It was Sunday, so some were closed. Still a large variety left to choose from. The area is beautiful with many sculptures placed along the streets. The hotel also had covered parking available when we arrived, which is always great where there could be hail during a storm. The room was clean and comfortable. The fitness room had adequate equipment and was cool. The front desk was very helpful with dining suggestions. The breakfast was ok and the complimentary water when leaving was nice.

Ideally located in this quaint little town for a one night stay. Room very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Breakfast, although a little limited, was included in the price for a change; perhaps because there was no handy diner nearby.
Excellent supermarket just across the road with the best array of local produce I have seen. Interesting architecture in the town and a lot of unusual artwork, mainly statues in the main street. Good choice of restaurants for the evening plus a few more dubious bars.

Nice place just down from Cabela's. Takes a couple of minutes to get there from 70 but worth it to be in such a nice town. Nice rooms, great people, good parking, wonderful outdoors. Who could ask for more.

Pros: This hotel has great amenities. Nice fitness center, pool, and an eating area and lobby with modern decor. Even the breakfast fare was amazing. Lots of variety than your cereal and toast choices you get at other hotels. The rooms were decently sized and the beds were comfortable and clean. Also, the front desk staff are the most accommodating and friendliest people I've met at a Hampton Inn. The cons: Do not leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door past noon. Even though I removed the sign before I left the hotel in the afternoon, the housekeeping doesn't go back to your room. Better yet, as soon as you leave, remind the front desk to have housekeeping replace your towels and what not. Another thing is the wi-fi. It's shoddy. I was kicked off of the internet plenty of times that I connected to Fairfield Inn's wi-fi next door with no connectivity problems. However, if not on business, that shouldn't be your issue.

Room Tip: Do not choose a room on the first floor by the back door exit. It gets pretty noisy at night.

Beds cozy and comfortable, along with the pillows. Breakfast was served from 6-10am, and was good with good variety. Hotel Centrally located on main street within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
