I would plan to spend maybe a couple hours here. It's not huge but if you take your time it's enjoyable. There are local plants and plants from around the world. It's 3.00-5.00 per person to get in. There are resident animals like box turtles, a tortoise, koi, beautiful butterflies and friendly bees; and even a cat. The butterfly pavilion is pretty but it's really hot in there. The temperature read 102 degrees. There is a castle and secret garden for the kids. Just outside is a playground for kids and a disc golf course right on the Colorado River. It's a cool place to walk or just hang out.
