We were notified before arriving that we had to move sites because of erosion and flooding on our lake front site, which was no problem at all. Camp hosts came by when we arrived to check that everything was fine and were very friendly. Water was near the site and bathrooms were clean. However, we had neighbors next to us who were very loud, playing music, etc. until after 1 am. Camp hosts were nearby and did not enforce the quiet hours.

Room tip: Book a lake front site!

My son and I loved the views from the campground. The campground is well maintained and is quite at 10pm. The hosts were very nice and sold campfire wood. I would stay here again. Best to bring a canopy of some sort due to no shade.

This campground is on the north side of Lake Granby, near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. There are 129 sites. 21 sites have electric hook-ups. Some sites are right on the waterfront. The bath house closest to our site had flush toilets, sinks, and showers (one shower was handicap accessible). This campground is part of the Arapaho National Recreation Area. We stayed in Loop B, site 91, which did not have any hookups. Cost for the site was $24.00, plus $5.00 day use fee. Our site was at the end of the loop and was huge. We were just across the road from the water. Sites have picnic tables and fire pits with grills. A map of the campground is available online. We camped in our conversion van and the parking spot for the site was very level. There was a short uphill path to our picnic table and fire ring. Most sites have a nice view of the lake. We arrived on a Sunday night and did not have reservations. There is a boat ramp and parking area next to the campground. Boats must stop at the sanitizing station at the boat ramp. I have a stand up paddle board which I could easily carry to the water from our site. I checked with the man at the sanitizing station and he said I did not need a permit or need to have it checked by him. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. It is very convenient to Grand Lake, Adams Falls, and the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. We found out the next day that all of the campgrounds in the national park were full so we were glad that we stopped here instead on going into the park Sunday evening.

Room tip: Drive around the campground to find a site with your favorite view of the lake.

We camped here with 11 family members. We ended up getting three sites--one right on the water and two up in the loop. I really recommend going there ahead of time to scope out the spots you wanted. We actually picked our spots randomly and then happen to vacation in the area a few weeks before our schedule camp out. We wanted to check out our camp spots and good thing we did because we hated the view that we had chosen. We paid a small fee to rebook but it was worth it because the view was way better. Having a third spot on the lake was really nice because those in our group that wanted to fish could go to our family's third spot and fish right off of the lake. Our family had such a good here we didn't want to leave!

We visited the Stillwater Campground this past weekend. We stayed in site B62. It is right next door to the awesome campground hosts of that loop. The vaulted bathrooms were awesome, very clean and well kept. It is a big change from the outhouse style . I did not experience any noise from other camp's or generators at all. The campground hosts have a great sense of humor. American Leisure has two great employees taking care of this loop. We will be back.
