Well, I have been coming here for months, and the food never ceases to impress, however, upon seeing the staff, it seems obvious that they are becoming more and more angry, and stressed as the days go by, given the service quality. I've noticed that well over half of them, have become effective actors, and should be employed on Broadway, because they are smiles and cheer when dealing with customers, but literally the second they turn away, or finish you up in their station, their smile, flattens to a cold grimace. They are extremely efficient, almost too much so, and it is a prime example of manufactured food--if that is your type of thing. I am not sure if this is an issue with management, or ownership, but what is clear, is that the staff is unhappy, but part of the reason I keep returning, is that they are passionate about the customer, the whole lot of them. I know many of them, on a first name basis, and they never fail to satisfy my needs as a consumer.
With that said, the decor is cheap, and tacky, the atmosphere seems very pushy, and very rushed, but perhaps that is the concept of it. The value is there, the quality is there, but the concept to me, seems like pure exploitation. The experience is not there--and to no fault of staff or management on that one--however, it seems like they are trying to streamline the process to make the staff superfluous to the process, and rather than give an actual restaurant experience, they would rather make a giant vending machine. Personally, as much as I enjoy this place, and as much as I enjoy the staff--I will not be returning to this establishment.
