My brother and his lovely wife were married in an outdoor ceremony at the Briarwood over Memorial Day weekend. What an amazing venue! The outdoor seating area was beautiful, with blooming flowers in planters all around. There was a play area for the kiddos on the lawn, and roaming waiters served us appetizers and drinks after the ceremony. The outdoor sound system was excellent - the entire service and the music could be heard quite clearly by all. The reception was indoors, due to rainy weather, and it was just lovely! Fabulous prime rib, prosciutto-wrapped chicken, halibut, and fresh, delicious vegetables. The staff, esp. Duncan the coordinator, was extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. This is one of the best-kept secrets in the Denver area for a wedding venue, I think! Cheers to all of you at the Briarwood - we'll be back!

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Briarwood Inn, and WOW! The location is totally beautiful and the restaurant itself is wonderfully intimate. I had the salmon and root vegetables with a salad. Amazing. The salmon was fantastic.

I enjoyed the fireplace as well as the general ambiance of the location. I will definitely return! Yum!

We made a reservation for a Friday night, We were visiting town recently after moving from the area more than two years ago. We used to eat here at least three times a year for many, many years. This time, I noticed some subtle changes. My chair had a stain on the fabric and one large mirror in the main dining room looked dusty. The appetizer tray is still excellent, but I noticed that it is now available for purchase instead of gratis. Our meals were still excellent and the service great, but somehow i sensed that this is a wonderful place whose time may have passed. Don't get me wrong, this place should be a definite destination for a great meal.

We visited the Briarwood Inn recently and had the opportunity to enjoy a Sunday brunch at this iconic restaurant. What a treat! Brunch is selected off of the menu--so no lining up and hoping that what you want is still available; the menu selections are nearly endless! Most of us decided on either omelettes or Eggs Benedict and we were completely satisfied. An ornate tray loaded with delicate pastries and artistic creations was terribly tempting and effective!! The only thing that was more remarkable about this restaurant than the meal is the superb service!! The wait person was attentive without being obtrusive and completely polite! Such a wonderful experience that we will not wait long to return!!

We have been going to the Briarwood Inn for well over 20 years....for dinner, brunch, tea, Music on the Terrace (summer) or a meal in the Tavern. You can't go wrong. We have enjoyed everything they have prepared. Lisa, Duncan and Turner make you feel like family. Now for the food - the appetizer tray hasn't changed over the years - but who would want it to change. Right now they are featuring fresh fish on Friday - have gone the last 2 Fridays. Sole prepared perfectly - sauce unbelievable. Ate in the Tavern 2 weeks in a row with friends. Wonderful evening...enjoyed Elk sliders - shrimp & scallops - mushroom flatbread - Briarwood wings - scallop BLT. Check out the entire menu on their web site. Denise has taken care of us many times - she's wonderful.....but then again so are Ray and Kim. You need anything they'll take care of you. Very romantic - perfect place to unwind after a day of work.
