The Alpine slide is always the favorite, but there are plenty of gift shoppes and a few places to get a bite to eat.

“Alpine Slide, Water Walkerz, Rock Climbing Wall, Train Ride & More!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

We visited the Sunday before Memorial Day and had a blast! I think everyone's favorite thing to do was the alpine slide. One ride down is $8/person, but you can do 3 rides for $23 or 5 for $38. There is so much to do here for kids. Go-Karts, Boats, Ferris Wheel, Pony Rides, etc. There is a ticket system in place as far as rides are concerned which puts me in the mind set of a carnival (except the rides are permanent fixtures). Also, the amusement park at Heritage is separate ticketing from the Miner's Adventureland. We only did the Miner's Adventureland (had a Groupon discount for those particular attractions) & Alpine Slide. There are a few shops located on the property too, but it appears the rides are the main attraction here. If you can make it on a Tuesday you can do unlimited rides for $12 (I think there are a couple of rides excluded though). Parking was free, the property is clean and across the street is Dinosaur Ridge. We would love to return if we find ourselves in the area again!!

I mean that in the best way. It's a fun place to hang out and play. Cute little amusement park too. Lots for the trinket shopper. Some challenges for wheelchair users but can be done with a little help.

“Mountain fun close to twon”

This has a variety of family fun just on the edge of Denver.
Hiking, Golden, Morrison, Red Rocks, Dinosaur ridge all close for a really great foothills day.

Even though this might not be everyone's cup of tea, I really like it, it has rides for the kiddos, gift stores for the adults in a faux victorian village.
