“Great Local Attraction . . . and Great Beer!”

Take the 30 minute tour of when and how beer is made the Coors way and then test their products free of charge in a beautiful lounge with home grown flowers.

“Okay tour”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013 via mobile

To see the brewery itself was neat. Fairly easy to get to but depending how long the line is be prepared to wait outside for a shuttle to take you to the actual brewery from parking. Although free, this tour is self guided and lacks personality. I was bored after the first stop and was enjoying my time more just looking around and reading the facts along the way. I did thoroughly enjoy the chance to taste several full sized glasses of a variety of different beers. Not the best time spent on vacation.

“great free trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

this place is historic. they have been making beer on site since pre prohibition. The mountain stream runs right thru the brewery. The tour is great. The gift shop has cool retro shirts. The beer samples are free. You can't go wrong.

“Depends on when you go”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

We've done the tour a couple times because it is a fun stop on the way from Denver to the mountain towns. The second time we went was July 5th. We pulled into the crowded parking lot and heard that the line just to get ON the bus to go to the brewery was more than an hour long. They said it was the busiest day of the year. We decided to wait until we drove past again a few days later and sure enough, it was a breeze. No waits, no crowds. The only bummer was that the processing lines were shut down for the day so we couldn't see any active bottling. It is a free, fun, interesting tour that rewards you with cold beer samples after. You'll be amazed at how many beers Coors makes.

We were in Colorado, one full day in Denvor,
We discovered that the Coors Brewery was there,

None of us a Beer drinkers, But.... Why not so we went,
its perfect, there is no fee to get in, The tour is nice, one gets to hear the history of Coors & see how its made, & at the end,
Drink & taste all the beer you want on them also they are happy to give you an cold coke if beer is not your thing.

So I say go . . .

& Yes there is a nice gift shop at the end, We didn't seem to buy much :-(
