I took my daughter for her 18th birthday to the Hot Springs lodge in Glenwood Springs and purchased the spa package. The room is clean and very comfortable-the beds were amazing. The hot springs pool is right across the street and very relaxing. We had a 50 minute Swedish massage from the Spa of the Rockies included, which was wonderful, along with pool passes and an amazing continental breakfast. I highly recommend for a relaxing experiance!

While accommodations are not fancy they are always clean and in good repair. Though the quoted price may seem a bit high for the quality of the lodging each room comes with full day passes (normally about $15 each) to the pool, pool towels, and a continental breakfast for everyone staying there. Reserve a south facing room if possible. This overlooks the pool, the mountains, and the downtown area. Downtown, numerous restaurants, and the Amtrak station are walking distance. During the summer the miniature golf and water slides are 1/2 a block away. If your ultimate destination is the Glenwood Hot Springs, the Hot Springs Lodge is the place to stay.

I have been to the Pool and Lodge a number of times and impressed every time. The rooms are clean and roomy, the breakfast is filling with a number of choices and the pool is fabulous! The front desk was knowledgeable about the area and very, very friendly. I will take vistors here every chance I get. Good value for money!

The complimentary pool passes and daily breakfast really made the Lodge a great value. The hotel staff from desk clerks to housekeeping seemed to go out of their way to be helpful.

Glenwood Springs is a great place for the whole family to enjoy and relax. The facility is very clean and maintained and the lodge is rather dated in decore but the rooms are nice sized and the beds are very comfortable. The complimentry breakfast is about average but a few more hot breakfast items would make it great. The main pools are great and second to none! I have been to the Lodge numerous times and have consistantly enjoyed my stay. I have discovered quite a few great resturants around the town and the town is just large enough to provide everything you need. Overall its a very worthwile trip for a weekend break.

My husband & I stayed in suite with young adult daughter & her boyfriend. The suite was nice but only one bath in our bedroom made it a little awkward. We had heavy snow & very cold weather, & because I walk with a cane, we had to drive over to pool-access from directly across the hotel would be more helpful. and having the breakfast across the way was a little uncomfortable. the breakfast was quite good, and the unlimited access to pool included in room rate was a major decision to stay at the lodge. It was a clean room, but nothing fancy-the mattress was nothing special. They could improve quality here. A little pricey for what ended up being provided.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay here at Glenwood Hot Springs. I really appreciate your remarks and I am sorry to hear you felt the need to drive over to the pool. Immediate access can be located right across the street and down the stairs. In the future, since you do walk with a cane, if you did not wish to utilize this path we would be happy to take you down in our shuttle.
I am delighted to hear you enjoyed the pool, breakfast and accommodations. I hope you are able to return after the lodge has had its upcoming room remodel. Look forward to its completion early December 2011. Thank you again, and hope to see you in the near future.

Sincerely,
Loretta Ayala
