“What a Dream”

We absolutely LOVED our 2012 Spring break Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had on a vacation . . . there is so much offered at the Lodge ~ the pools are magical! Close by there is skiing at Sunlight Mountain (discount advance purchase lift tickets available at the Lodge) and a 7 mile drive to hike the trails up to beautiful Hanging Lake (be sure to take something to secure your footing on icy ground if in the winter). The little downtown area is a short walk over the bridge and is full of life with excellent shopping and restaurants such as The Pullman (YUM!) and J.H. Chan. The town is so nice and clean. You can tell the residents of Glenwood Springs take pride in their hometown. It is lovely. I hope we are able to get back to Glenwood Hot Springs and Lodge soon! What a dream . . .

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the hot springs. The views of the steam coming off the pools with th...

I do not have anything negative to say about The Lodge. Check in was smooth. Going to the pool was smooth - it's across the street, down the hill. Room was great. Parking readily available and included.

I have seen some negative reviews here that I think are off base and completely different than what we experienced in our 3 days at The Lodge.

The value of staying at The Lodge if you are traveling with your family and planning on swimming in the hot springs is the pool passes and the daily breakfast. You can shop around for a less expensive hotel, but after paying entrance for the pool and eating breakfast somewhere, the difference would not be all that great.

Room Tip: As fair warning, there is an active train track across I-70 from The Lodge. If you are a light slee...

Have been to the lodge many times. It works great for us on ski trips or m/c touring. The rooms are newly remodeled and have central air and forced air heat so no noisy heater kicking on and off. The pool side breakfast is wonderful and the pool pass is great making this visit an event not to be missed. The location to downtown is very handy with many shopping and dining choices. The rooms are quiet and beds are the most comfortable I ever slept on. Sunlight ski resort is close by with the sweetest deal for sking in the West.I like the value season the best.

Room Tip: If you have alot of gear pick the deluxe rooms and I like Poolside facing downtown. It is pretty cool...

We stay at Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge to celebrate my husband birthday! everything was wonderful. Our room had a balcony and a comfy king size bed. The hot springs and breakfast are included in your room price. Breakfast was delicious, it had a variety of fruit, fresh omelettes, pancakes, juice, etc.

The lodge has a large parking lot.

Front desk was friendly, thank you! defenitely we will back!

Loved the Spa of the Rockies and Hot Springs. The Lodge is great with friendly staff and good bedding. I would only suggest to the hotel to NOT call the room to check on the guests as I found this invasive. I would defintiely return but would prefer a room not facing the parking lot.

Room Tip: ask to be facing the pool.

This place is unique, its steam seen rising from a distance as you approach on Interstate 70. It is ALWAYS worth a stop here!! Any season is fine! An hour spent soaking in the pools and anyone will feel better! The springs are across the street from the lodge.

We stayed here for a conference and I am glad we did. The service was great from the moment we checked in. I did not like our first room as it looked out on the parking lot so they moved us to the south side overlooking the pool and mountains. It had a balcony which was nice because we had great weather for our trip. The rooms are a tad on the small side but nicely appointed and comfortable. Their breakfast was very good with eggs, pancakes and hashbrowns offered along with continental type cuisine.
The spa was fabulous, very elegant and beautiful. We had massages and mine was one of the best I've ever had. Ashley was great! Super relaxing and comfortable and gorgeous.

Room Tip: South side has better views, the north is quieter.
