Best Western Antlers
Ranked #5 of 24 Hotels in Glenwood Springs
Certificate of Excellence

We have stayed in Glenwood Springs several times before but this was the best deal and best value for a quality motel-hotel in town. Next to everything, walking distance to the hot springs and across the road to an excellent mexican food restaurant. The pool is more inviting than the $16 a day hot springs down the street. The breakfast excellent, and the staff and service unsurpassed.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor.

Although we were just passing through Glenwood Springs, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is huge, it has three buildings. The room was nicer than I thought, the shower section has been remodeled. The sink is still a little bit older, but the rest was nice, rustic but nice. The bed was not very soft, but everything was clean.

All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend this hotel.

Needed a place to stay for a night when passing thru Glenwood Springs; Antlers was a decent price for the area, clean, quiet, and comfortable. OK breakfast in the lobby area--nothing special; would stay again if passing thru

Room Tip: we stayed on 2nd floor--pretty quiet--all doors are outside

This is our first stay at this hotel. Great location near the Hot Springs Pool/Downtown yet set back off the road for a quiet setting on this large wooded property with parking near your room in this old style 2 story motor lodge setup. We liked the one time 35.00 pet fee (regardless of number of nights in stay). Other newer hotels were more pricey for pet stays. Well maintained and clean with friendly staff. Reasonable rates although I suspect they will be higher for summer season but relatively good still in comparison to other properties.
The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about if you are used to spreads like the Hampton, Staybridge, or Homewood Suites but you won’t walk away hungry. No frills but passable and average. If you want the “full monty” for breakfast there is a small barvarian restaurant that is breakfast/lunch only with an excellent menu just 2 doors down and a 3 minute walk.
Staff helpful in finding a pet day boarding facility for our small dog while we hit the hot springs pool. (High Tails is the name of the boarding place-not close to hotel. Entire day was 27.00 but worth it on vacation with half day rate available).
All in all a good value in a great location if you don’t mind the older lodging set up although the rooms have been refreshed.

Room Tip: For total quiet ask for room on back side of hotel on an end. Front side rooms are set back from roa...

The Best Western staff was very accommodating with our dog. They even allowed me to sit in the lobby with him and finish my workday.

They are also the most affordable while still clean and comfortable when traveling with a pet. Another nearby property charges $100 for allowing your pet to stay in your room. BW only charges $35.

This was our second stay here and we would definitely stay again.

My husband and I took a road trip from Colorado Springs down to alamosa CO and up to Glenwood Springs. As we went sight seeing we began to look for a hotel and every town we stopped in along the way was homely and a bit scary. I called ahead to BW and Steve was able to get us in on Memorial Day weekend. While talking the room we wanted sold out and only one other was available. Steve was cool enough to give the room to us for the same price and my husband and I were very thankful. Apon arriving we were greeted by him and another lady (didn't catch name) who were very friendly! You guys were awesome and I thank you both so much for making my husband and I have an exceptional anniversary.

We called late about two hours away, got a room and some very nice advice about road construction which helped us navigate our way to the hotel. BEAUTIFUL large room, spacious, clean, decorated very nicely. The beds were so comfy! Even the pull out sofa bed for our teenager was good. Excellent breakfast, great surroundings and a terrific staff. We wanted to stay and hang out. We will absolutely stay here again (if we come back this way). In fact, I wish we were there now...instead of a Quality Inn in Wendover, UT, that smells overly strong of cleaner, and has weird stains on the bathroom walls!
