“Brew Pub or Chuck E. Cheese?”
Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

Food was tasty, beer was great, service was good. Why such a bad rating? If you are an adult looking for a pub atmosphere and an adult beverage, this is not the place for you. Screaming children in the bar area, loud ill mannered children in the dining area and just when we thought it could not be worse, the hostess brought in an entire Little League team and their parents. Imagine the noise then! Not at all a place where you could enjoy a beer. Should also mention this was not in the daytime; we left there after 9pm. Also, we love kids, just not at places who call themselves a "brewing company". Would not suggest for adults who want a quiet evening.

“Crowded, noisy but good beer and service”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Did not eat here but had some of the beer and it was a good beer experience. The bartenders were helpful and very knowledgable about the beer. If you like a good IPA, try the Batch 2000.

“Good place to visit”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in The Hotel Denver, where this brewpub was located, and the front desk gave us a $5 card for this place if we chose not to have our room made up, so we gave it a shot. The atmosphere was pleasant- similar to other pubs. We started with the beer battered onion rings which were very good, and plentiful. The chicken enchiladas I ordered were the best I have ever had! The sauce was creamy, and had a little zip to it. My husband's fish tacos were just okay. The corn tortillas tasted pasty, and they lacked flavor overall. The honey ale beer which was brewed there was very good. Our waitress Jamie was very nice, and since the side salad I had ordered never came, she took off the price of one beer, which we thought was nice. One of the food runners actually ended up bringing me the salad when we were done eating, but we told her our waitress had taken it off, and we no longer wanted it, as we were full, and expected it at the front end of the meal. We would return here again since most of the food was great, and we enjoyed the beer that is brewed on site.

“Super Brewpub!!”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

My wife and I enjoy "pub food" and places that make their own beer are the best. We went to this brewpub to celebrate my wife's birthday and found it has a very well rounded and moderately priced menu, as expected, but what I want to rave about is their hand crafted beers.
I've had a lot of different beers, but none can compare to their Hanging Lake Honey Ale!! This brew is a "must try" for anyone who likes any of the Sam Adams specialty beers or other beers in the class. And if their other brews are half as good as this one, you are in for quite the treat!
If only I had the means to buy a few growlers and take them home with me, but unfortunately TSA frowns on taking 12 oz liquid bottles on a plane 8-(((
