We were visiting friends in Glenwood Springs this weekend and we (4 adults) went to see the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue. It was one of the highlights of our weekend! We all had a fantastic time. Was so refreshing to have an evening of good clean fun your entire family could enjoy, sing alongs and lots of laughter. It was a sold out show by the way.
They do serve dinner before the show however we did not do this. We had drinks during show and dessert which is served during intermission.
Every actor/performer was extremely talented and I am amazed that they haven't been snagged by the big time agents. But then maybe they just enjoy the small town atmosphere and that's why they do such a terrific job!
The director John Goss was hilarious, and his facial expressions are some of the best I have ever seen! Very personable guy, really made you feel like the entire room were all your close friends.
I was especially impressed with how John took time to point out some of the small businesses that support the theater. We in fact returned the favor to a couple of those businesses, with our patronage. We feel it is very important to support small business and local theaters like these.
WIth talent like the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue that is very easy to do!!
Highly recommend, and we will most certainly visit again when we are in town.
The "Babies" skit was our favorite, haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
