This past summer I helped my friend move back home to Kentucky from California. As we passed through Colorado we decided we needed to get out and enjoy some of scenery. This place happened to be directly off of the interstate , so we thought we would check it out. Thinking it would be a quick hike, we neglected to bring water. This proved to be a mistake , turned out to be 2 mile hike up to the top of mountain. Not gonna lie , it's a pretty intense trek. Turned out to be well worth the mild dehydration though ,because the top of the trail is absolutely stunning. Not only are you able to see nothing but the Rockies for miles and miles , there's also this Crystal clear blue lake with an amazing waterfall. Very utopian-esque
