I have stayed at this resort off an on over the last 20 years. They have become too big, and not the same place. I booked the same site by down by the river, as I have had in the past. I have a pickup camper and do not require hookups. I informed them of the type of vehicle I had when I reserved this space. It was my daughters last camping trip before she went off to collage. When we arrived, we were told we could not stay in the site I reserve by the river, as they only allow tents. I told them I have stayed in that same site, with the same vehicle, at least 5 times before. They told me they have never allowed pickup campers there. Since they have build their new RV sites, FAR AWAY FROM THE RIVER WITH NO TREES, they are tying to get more money for these sites, even if one does not need hookups.
I would recommend if anyone is looking for a campsite next to a river, without being treated like a criminal, try many of the Colorado State campgrounds. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND!More
