The diner is a step back in time and the food is good. Salad bar (one trip) is included with an entree so we started with French Onion soup and Vegetable Ravioli soup. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh with plenty of variety. Our entrees were perfect and exactly as described except the portions were even bigger. We had to order our homemade pie to go as we were stuffed.

We walked in for lunch with high hopes. It looked pretty cute inside. We waited for someone to seat us for a bit. It didn't look busy. Only about 3 tables. We noticed that it was smoky. The people behind us left.

We got seated. I looked at the menu. It seemed ok, but not amazing. I looked at the salad bar. Again, not great. The soup selection was tomato basil or chicken rice. The smoke overcame us and we decided to leave since the menu didn't look great either. There was only one waitress/seating person and every waiting for food didn't look happy. Not sure if the food was good, but glad we left.

This place has a nice retro atmosphere with a very friendly staff - their food was quite good - we had the angus burger and chicken fried steak and both were delicious. The guy's french dip sitting at the table next to me looked really good too :) Glad we stopped!!!

Frequented this bar/grill while staying in the area for work.

It has the old diner feel with lots of memorabilia around. They fix a great drink and have pretty good food. The staff is always friendly and the owner is a lot of fun (even if he is a Green Bay
fan). He has a really cool Green Bay Packers Stool for sale if anybody is interested.

Its a family friendly place, so probably not the place for you if you are looking for a place to get rowdy with your friends.

I will always stop here when I am in town. Hope the Blue Moon is working next time.

Go Seahawks!
Dave

Don`t be fooled by the outside. The inside is very interesting, with a large collection of collectables. I had a very tasty filet and my friend had the prime rib for dinner, along with a nice salad bar. We both enjoyed our dinners and found they were very reasonably priced. I would recommend this place and would certainly go back. The location was very convenient to where we stayed, at the Hotel Glenwood Springs.
