Love this little drive/walk up hamburger joint... Great food, authentic atmosphere, friendly people. A true 'local color' small business! :-)

I had lunch today at Vic's with a business associate. The service was top-shelf from the time we were greeted to the time we left. We were on a time frame and let the server know that up front, so they were very efficient about getting us served in a timely manner. The food was very good and the portions were more than ample. The decor was an eclectic mix of auto memorabilia and neon. Overall, it was a fun casual place with very good food and great service. Pricing was middle of the road; we could have spent more or less for a similar lunch elsewhere, but we both felt this place was worth the visit.

This restaurant seemed a little confused about its identity. The decor is 1950's Johnny Rocket style, but the menu leans more towards a steakhouse. The salad bar was good and the Prime Rib entree was average. Across the board, the menu seemed overpriced.

We waited 40 minutes for food and then the steak was overcooked. Management could care less a a party came in while we were there who had made reservations for 13 and after standing around for 10 minutes they left . Avoid this place at all costs.

Food was average as was the service. Had hoped for more since the owner has been a restauranteur in the valley for 30 years.
