What better way to see great views in the Glenwood Springs area than on a hummer tour. We opted for the evening tour and tacked on the chuckwagon dinner for our family of 4. This experience was one of the best of our trip.

The tour is conducted at Bair Farm - a large sheeping farm - located off of I-70 and accessible through a private gate (code is given to you when reservation is confirmed) Our guide allowed us to stop for pictures or short hikes at any location that peaked our interest. The views were amazing and we were able to view lots of different wildlife including a golden eagle.

After about 2 hours on the Hummer we were taken to the chuckwagon location for a meal cooked over a fire. The meal of either steak or burger, corn, salad, baked potato, baked beans and peach cobbler was delicious. The location also had nice bathrooms - a huge improvment over the port-a-potties at the base of the farm.

Loved that they offer so many things to do! We tubed and had a great time, although be prepared for an unguided adventure to tube vs. raft...we were! We'll be trying them again next time, maybe for bikes or ATV's or Segways. Great location too - real close to restaurants, etc.

We took the Segway tour during our vacation to Glenwood. It was alot of fun! Thomas ensures you are well prepared and capable before he takes you out for the tour. You get to see some sights within the city and travel some of the trail in the canyon. We saw two herds of big horn sheep along the trail! That was awesome! If you are looking for some fun, I highly recommend the Segway tour!

Our family just returned from 8 days in Beaver Creek, CO. I found this company while researching Glenwood Adventure Park. My husband really wanted to do a Hummer or Jeep tour while we were in Colorado. The Hummer tour looked really amazing and we decided to try it on a whim. Children 5 and under are free so we decided it was a great way to try to boys out on some group tours. Ray Alexander was absolutely the best hummer guide and made the trip fun for all ages. We have twin 5 year old boys which is always interesting when doing a tour with strangers. Ray was able to give the adults on the trip a fun and informative ride while entertaining my 5 year olds at the same time. The views of Bair Ranch were stunning and we got several scenic photographs for our Christmas card this year. My husband and boys had an amazing time. Just one note of warning . . . the restroom at Bair Ranch is litnerally an outhouse. It was beyond disgusting. I would highly recommend stopping at the roadside park right before entering the ranch to use the bathrooms.

We were on the fence about doing a rafting trip with the boys being younger. However we had such a great time with Ray that we decided to try a raft tour the next day with some of our friends who were also up from Texas. The river trip was a blast and made the drive out to Glenwood Springs two days in a row totally worth it. Ray made the trip adventerous and informative for the adults while enterating the kids the kids with stories, jokes, and stunts. Everyone in our group was in agreement that it was the best day of our vacation and we want to do it again next summer. We plan on requesting Ray again and have recommended him to severa of our friends with trip planned in the coming months.

Thank you Ray and Glenwoold Adventures for making our vacation! Our boys are so excited to go back to school and share all of their adventures with their friends.
