“Delicious and delighful.”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

My friends and I stopped by this restaurant by fluke on Sunday evening and enjoyed one of the best meals of our weekend getaway to Glenwood/Palisade/Grand-Junction. Three out of the four of us are of Indian origin and quite picky when it comes to Indian cuisine. The food at this place was absolutely delicious. Full flavor and quite spicy (at our request). We were also impressed by the attentive customer service and pleasant interactions with the owner. Just a nice and wonderful experience. Definitely recommend it.

“Did this place go downhill????”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

We eat Nepali food all the time. We have eaten at Nepal Resteraunt many times before.. anytime we are in the area. It has always been quite good. But tonight it wasnt that good but barely adequate. The first thing we noticed was how SMALL the portions were. They would have been ok if it was lunch but this was dinner. We always get 2 entrees that we can share and there just wasnt much food to share. The spices were ok but overall just adequate and not great. Oh and the garlic naan was terrible.. crispy, thin, and not soft at all. Tasted like a crispy cracker not naan. I dont understand the raving reviews although the service was excellent but I want the food to be excellent. Maybe it was an off night? But at least the portions should be larger for dinner..

“Personalized service with delicious food”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Visiting from Illinios, we wanted a restaurant outside the hustle of downtown Glenwood Springs. We tried a combination dish along with a couple of appetizers. Everything we tried was delicious. Our server and the owner, Om, were very attentive to our needs. Om was a pleasure to talk to and recommended a restaurant to visit when we return to Illinois. We will definitely be returning to eat at Napal Restaurant. Thank you Om!!

“All time favorite restaurant!!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

Born and raised in the roaring fork valley myself and my group of friends have always loved this restaurant. They are an amazing family as well as cooks. The food is amazing I almost always get chicken tiki masala, cheese naan, and chia. Oh yeah I am a regular and they know what I like. I have been coming since they opened and will continue to go for years to come. It's a little outside Carbondale and glenwood springs but remember some of the best places are off the beaten path. I recommend to check it out!

“Unexpected”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

As new arrivals in Glenwood Springs looking for dinner we checked Tripadvisor for the top rated eatery and found the Nepal. It's about six miles out of town located in a strip mall - parking is limited and could be a challenge but there were few patrons the night we visited so no problem. Decor is very basic. Service was slow and a little distant - probably due to the waiters poor english. The menu was extensive, the food was fine and the prices reasonable. If you don't expect a fine dining experience or fun ambiance then you won't be disappointed.
