I have been visiting here since 1970 and love the territory. With the views of Mount Sopris especially, the entire valley is simply a beautiful place to visit.

We have been visiting the RFV for over 20 years, mostly in the summer. We love to hike and finally got on the slopes this winter at Ski Sunlight. Try rafting in the summer, ride the bike trail, go to the Hot Springs Pool. Take the gondola in Aspen summer or winter, and hike the Richmond Ridge Trail when it's open. Go down to Marble and visit the quarry. Throw snowballs at Independence Pass in July. Eat in a fabulous restaurant almost anywhere (check out all the TA reviews). Have fun!
