We got to town late and stayed at the Glenwood Motor Inn just across the street from this Village Inn. This is one of my go-to restaurants for reliably good food no matter where they are located. This one is just a few walkable blocks to the hot springs pool, which is what we did after dinner. Try it; you won't be disappointed. Very nice waitress. :)

We wanted an inexpensive, quick breakfast as we had miles to make. This is apparently a chain but felt like an old-fashioned diner. Excellent service, super poached egg and pancakes, and all the coffee we could drink. Got our day off to a great start.

The menu is huge, the food good, and the facility clean and new-looking. The service was good, even on a crazy-busy Sunday morning. We went two days in a row.

The staff at Village Inn was very accommodating when we stopped in for pie and coffee, I told them it was my husband's Birthday along with his twin brother, they put candles in the pie and ALEX got JR to assist and they got all the other patrons to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the guys! Village Inn pies are always great, and even better when they give a free slice on your birthday! We will return next time we are in Glenwood!

I know seeing patrons walk in 20min prior to closing can be frustrating. After being turned away at 3 other locations in Glenwood Springs we walked into Village Inn. I immediately was greeted by Alex with a warm smile and after I apologized for coming in at the last minute he assured us we were just fine, thank you so much Alex. Your kindness and your service were GREATLY appreciated!
