Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

Very convenient for those who want to enjoy all of it together: mountains, hot springs and an excellent hotel. A very nice place. Would like to come back there in a late spring when water slide will be open.

My wife and I visited the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool during a weekend first-visit to the area (from out of town). The pool experience was worth it purely for the unique aspect of it all...gigantic pools "naturally" Earth-heated. While it was enjoyable, and, we'll probably go back someday I found the overall experience just average due to the crowded pools, high prices and fairly dirty locker-room areas (given the price).

I frequent this place several times a year. I love spending the afternoon with girlfriends and enjoying the hot springs. The cost a little stiff at $15 a person, make sure bring towels they are 2.50 to rent. One time use lockers are .50 cents which is very reasonable. The water is 90 in the big pool, so it's safe for a while if you are expecting (I was told). The other pool is 104 degrees and has jet seats that you can purchase for 3 minute intervals.
