Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

Very nice pool to go to by yourself or with family. They have two pools, one really long and warm and the other one is extra warm that you aren't supposed to stay in very long, but it has seats that you can sit on in the wager that give you an additional massage for ar little extra cost. The big long pool is fantastic for doing laps or just soaking. There were a lot of people when we went but it was still very roomy and nice. They even had a slide toy for the kids at one end. Inside there was a sit down cafe area where you could get pizza or burgers and drinks ( soda or water). It was reasons me cost to get in and not a long wait. We spent most of afternoon there and had wonderful time. Would DEFINITELY return for another dip!

“Not all that impressive”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

One thing everyone in my family enjoys is visiting hot springs and so we've been to hot springs pools in a number of areas. This one was so-so, partly because it seemed overpriced--$62 for a family of four seemed too much for what this attraction offers. Please be advised that towels cost an additional $2.50 apiece and they are thin and small. I would have liked more information about amenities from the clerks, whom I thought were sort of rude. It would have been fun, for example, to know that you can bring change outside to sit in these sort of underwater metal chairs that massage you with water jets--it cost $1.25-- but it didn't seem worth it to dash back in to a dressing room that was not all that easy to get to during such cold weather for some change. The warmest pool was great in cold weather--the very large pool was not all that comfortable temperature-wise in the winter. My kids loved the diving board and doing tricks outside into a warm pool. We did end up having a lot of fun at Glenwood Hot Springs, but sort of in spite of some of the circumstances.

The Hot Springs were great it was very very fun and relaxing! We took the kids as well and they had a lot of fun. We have a 4 year old and a 10 month old and it was fun for the both of them. It is expensive but worth it.

“Great time with my daughter.....”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

We have been living in the area for almost a year now and my 6 year old daughter had been asking me to take her to the hot springs for several months, well we finally broke down and went and talk about a fun and pleasing experience. We had a bite to eat at the grill inside the Spa before going to the locker rooms and changing, the food was good and it is more like cafeteria style not over priced either. The changing rooms are what you would expect at a larger pool very clean and well maintained they do have lockers available for $.50, we found a nice spot in the sun very well kept pool area plenty of life guards. The water was very warm and refreshing considering it was only 45 out, a lot of families and people enjoying the hot springs we had a blast stayed here for 4 hrs and they have a mineral pool that is like a giant hot tub Huge very relaxing and plenty of fun for the whole family....We plan on getting the family pass as it will save on money, since we plan on going more often....

“Been comming here for 30 years”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

I have come here for 30 years. It is our go to place for a couple days away from home. A few years ago they did an extensive remodel and it looks great.
