Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

“Swimming is possible in chilly fall weather!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

We went for a swim in the Hot Springs pool at the end of October - it was 35 - 40 degrees outside. So chilly in fact, that the life guards had to wear winter gear! We couldn't tell though - pool was amazingly warm! Hard to get out though...

Pros: huge pool so even with a lot of people you don't feel crowded, beautiful view of the surrounding area, in the heart of the local hotel area

Cons: no family changing rooms make it tough for mom to go to the locker room with all the kids and trappings by herself

This is a quarterly trip for us - love it every time!

“The Hot Springs are great!”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

The Glenwood Hot Springs is a great place to relax in mineral hot water up to 104 degrees. They are open 24 days a week from 7 AM util 10 PM so you are flexible to visit at any time. Also, if you go in the morning, you can return anytime during that day. Once you get oin the water, no matter what the temperature of the air is, you will not want to get out. The facility is very clean and has lockers for your private use.

“this place is hot”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

A great way to relax after hiking or biking. There are three pools - the therapy pool is like a hot bath and has bubbler seats for 25c.
The main pool is a bit cooler but still comfortably warm. You can also laze by the pool getting a tan, swim in the lap pool or use the springboard for a bit of diving.
I think it's open till 10pm all through the year.
