Attraction details
Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

“Rejuvenating Afternoon at the Hot Springs”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

We dropped in mid afternoon to enjoy a fresh fall afternoon at the hot springs. The water temperatures were perfect as were the number of people in the pool. A relaxing and good time was had by all. We highly recommend going for a dip at least once while visiting Glenwood Springs.

“Lovely get away destination”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Is it possible to have too much hot water? No. The big hot pool (104 degrees) was great - especially in the evening with steam rising. The enormous cooler pool (96 degrees) was good for cooling off between dips in the hot pool. Helpful staff, good grill for breakfast and lunch, clean locker rooms. Good for any time of year.

“Feels so good!”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

I can't begin to explain this experience in a way that anyone can understand. You must visit this pool if you ever go to Glenwood Springs. The changing rooms are clean, and you can rent anything you may have forgotten. There are two pools with one being slightly cooler, relatively speaking, than the other. We visited here after we had done some hiking in Estes Park, and it felt so good!

“don't miss it”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

This is a must. The pool is huge and the farther you get from the soaking pool, the cooler the water, so you can comfortably swim laps. Or, you can soak in the hot water and let your tensions melt away. You can stamp your hand for re-entry the same day. The pool has a gym and concessions and a shop. The ladies dressing room is always clean.

“Definitely different”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We came with no idea what to expect, the pools are great for a set of tired muscles or aging bodies, the price is a bit high but within reason, the care, consideration of the clientel is first rate.
We also tried out the tube slides, not for the faint of heart for the climb on the stairs to ride and a bit scary as to the first time down but still FUN!!
