Certificate of Excellence

Attraction details
Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

“Definitely different”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We came with no idea what to expect, the pools are great for a set of tired muscles or aging bodies, the price is a bit high but within reason, the care, consideration of the clientel is first rate.
We also tried out the tube slides, not for the faint of heart for the climb on the stairs to ride and a bit scary as to the first time down but still FUN!!

“Glenwood Hot Springs Pool”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

The smell of sulfer is undeniable when you first enter the pool but it doesn't linger over the pool.
The pool is so very relaxing. There seem to be so many people but surprisingly no one invaded my space. If you don't like a lot of people around the best time may be to go during the week when school is in session.
Very nice. I want to go back in the winter!

“Relaxation at its best”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Loved both pools and could have stayed for hours. Need to take own water etc especially after 5 pm. Gets quieter as the sun goes down. Definately worth a visit

“Quite expensive really but a 'must do'”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

We considered this a 'must do' on our trip to Glenwood Springs and, despite the fact that it is quite pricey, it was worth it. We went on a day when it rained a little and we are sure it would have been a little nicer if it had been sunny (we could have used the sun beds to catch a tan!) Nonetheless, the therapy pool was heavenly but don't stay in there for too long or you'll feel a bit funny!

“A piece of paradise!”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

What a lovely way to relax in the warm waters of this pool. The bubble chairs in the hot pool are great and you get around 15 mintues use for just a quarter. Can be really busy during the day, we waited until around 6pm and the crowds were a little less. Great views of the mountains while you float in the warm water! A must do for your visit to Glenwood Springs.
