Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

We went as a group of 7. We waited until after 9 pm to get the discounted rate. We loved the first pool that is hotter and more relaxing. The second pool was still very warm and relaxing but we were able to goof off and have fun too. We jumped off the diving board and had races in the pool. The slide was closed and they informed us that they only open the slide if the temperature is above 65 degrees outside. They can't predict the weather but the hot pools are more fun when it is freezing out so it's a toss up!

The Glenwood Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado is the coolest place to go for the day or night! We only live 25 miles from this place, but we try to get there at least twice per month.

The hot tub is so relaxing and they have bubble chairs for .25. The big pool is so large that even on a weekend you never feel crowded. My husband loves the diving board and my kids beg for a punch pass for the slides! In the summer they have a poolside temporRy tattoo station and snowcone station.

You can rent a cabana for comfort and privacy, but really the lawn section is our favorite.

I never go anywhere else to buy bathing suit. The gift store is the best in town! And to wrap it all up, you can choose from two large changing/shower rooms.

Go to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool today!

Very relaxing experience. Really reasonably priced for a tourist type thing -- $12-13/pp for all day if you like. Tons of lounge chairs. Lost quarters in locker before I got it locked, so just took clothes with me and put by lounge chair. Take some money in with you for pop machine and bubble jets. Liked being able to get in the warmer therapy pool and then switch to the slightly cooler one multiple times. We took in our own towels as we were surprised they charged for towels. Seemed like a local hangout -- lots of little bitty children taking swimming lessons -- too cute!! A little buggy when it starts to get dark and it is a little smelly but very tolerable. Again, we really enjoyed it.

We went to the pool on a cool-ish September evening. After a hard day's hiking at Maroon Bells wilderness it was a pleasure to lounge in the hot water and ease the stiffness from our muscles. That's the good bit.

But.....the entrance fee was expensive, for what it is and we felt really ripped off to be charged $2.50 extra (each) for the hire of tiny, thin and word towels. And it doesn't stop there. The lockers take 2 x quarters, which were not returnable and you need another quarter to make the bubble chairs work. To add insult to injury, the showers, at least in the womens' side, were very poor and not very warm, there was no shampoo in the dispenser and the hairdriers were positioned oddly and not very effective.
