Two outstanding rides: the alpine coaster and the canyon swing. The coaster allows you to take a small cart down the mountainside at your own speed. Plenty of exciting turns and bumps. The swing sends you out over the canyon, either front or backwards. You are about 1000 feet above the Colorado River. A tremendous thrill. There are three tours of the caverns. We went on the Adventure tour, which took us deep into the mountain, through narrow passages and steep climbs. Not easy, but it was indeed an adventure. The rest of the park is a little hokey, although people seemed to like the "4-D" theater and laser tag. the cable car ride to the park is very scenic, although we had to take the bus down because of the threat of lightening.

Having taken our kids to several "adventure parks" in the Summit County/Vail Valley area, our hopes for this one were modest. We have found most of these outfits to be fun but over-priced and clearly designed to part a tourist with their money. But what a great surprise with Glenwood! Though not cheap, we spent hours here and loved every minute. The staff is welcoming, the attractions unusual, and the surroundings beautiful. The highlight was the mountain coaster - we found it so much more fun than the usual concrete alpine slide. I really felt like they were trying to give their visitors a quality experience. There were so many places they could have cut corners, but they didn't - from the Fort/Maze that gave out prizes if you finished in less than 8 minutes to Laser Tag that was much more complete and sophisticated than we expected. If you have kids, this is really a great way to spend a day. And I'll give a quick plug for the Bluebird Cafe on the main street of town - so friendly, so yummy and all organic.

We all loved the caves and adventure park. We bought the winter all day passes which was a great value. The caves were neat, and the tour was informative and justbhe right length for my 8-year-old. My kids also loved the climbing wall and theater. The best thing we did was the coaster down the mountain. We went on a brisk March day, and after going on the ride more than 20 times, the smiles were frozen on our faces. We had a great day!

Live in the valley and go every now and again. We are in are 30's and is fun to go to every now and again. I had some friends come visit with thier 4 year old son and WOW This was so much fun and a great day. The Alpine Slide is a blast along with being able to haave some adult drinks to get us ready for the swing. The scariest ride I have ever been on and I have been to all the major amusements parks. I true gem in the rough!

I went to the Caverns for the first time this weekend even though I live in the area. We had a blast!! Even though the tram was not running due to high winds, the bus ride up was not that bad at all. We had a group of 5 adults and one small child. We all had fun. The staff worked with us when we did not buy the day pass, but separate tickets, and then wanted to upgrade. We did not even do the cave tours, but had enough fun on the alpine coaster, 4d theater, the giant swing, and the mechanical bull. I plan on going again sometime soon to do the tram and cave tour.
