“So Much Fun!”
Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

Loved it, family had a great time. Beautiful up there. The rides were fun, my teenagers enjoyed the Alpine slide and the cave tour's the most. The ride the swing you over the cliffs, so cool. Prices were as expected, but well worth the trip.

“Caverns just average”

Winter passes was pricey...most rides closed during our visit. Kids loved alpine coaster. Cave tour was ok however tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

“Fun Time”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

Our girls have enjoyed the Caverns several times over the last few years. The attractions that are open in the winter are limited but still fun. But if you can go after they fully open for the season (after early May) it is even more fun. The food in the restaurant is good - a limited menu that is competently executed. And the employees are all very nice. We really enjoyed the cave tours!

“Family loved it!”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

We came to Glenwood Springs for a spring break getaway. We truly enjoyed the Glenwood Caverns. The cave tours were a lot of fun and well worth the price. All ages will enjoy this part of the adventure park. We really enjoyed our tour guide and all staff really. Everyone was very nice and you can tell all staff takes customer service to heart.

We came during off peak season, therefore not all rides were open. We want to come back this summer and ride all rides, they look awesome! Both of my kids look forward to coming back!

The first ride we rode that was open was the alpine coaster. We have experienced the one in park city utah and this one is better in my opinion. This ride made our day amazing compared to just fun had it been closed. All four of us enjoyed this the most, fun for almost all ages! The line was long every time, but understandable considering not many activities were open and this was the most exciting ride open.

We did laser tag and the 4D coaster also. These were the same as anywhere else and my kids enjoy them anywhere. We did not try the cafe. We looked up the prices prior to our day up there and felt we could get better food for comparable prices elsewhere. Eating there seems like you are paying more for the view than anything else, but of course I can't comment on quality since we did not try it.

The tram taking you up and back was very enjoyable. It seems like the perfect mix of speed and pace for sight seeing. The only complaint we had was the fact that my husband had gone back down to our hotel about an hour prior to the rest of us and he said they made him ride down in a tram with strangers which was weird to us. He would have rather just waited for the next set of cars, granted he did not say that so they may have granted his request had he asked.

This was a great day for us all! Very enjoyable and well worth the money, can't wait to get back!

Dear Wendy,

We are so glad that you and your family enjoyed your time at the adventure park, and we are thrilled to hear you plan on visiting us again! The Alpine Coaster and cave tours have always been favorites at the park, so we are glad you got to experience both.

We are sorry that your husband did not enjoy his ride on the tram. Because we have so many visitors, our attendants work hard to transport guests as efficiently as possible, which oftentimes means combining groups on the tram. If you run into the same situation again, you can certainly request to wait for the next set of cars.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and writing this thoughtful review! We are looking forward to your next visit.

“A must do”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

Loved the employees! Everyone was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the alpine coaster, the big swing, and cave tours. A fun way to spend the day and the weather was just right!
My two wishes: their "restaurant" to be better staffed for busy times. IE: spring break. We thought that by eating closer to 2pm we would miss the lunch rush. It took 45 minutes to get our food, thank goodness we didn't order burgers (we heard they take even longer).
And my little one (5) really wanted to ride the cool Ferris wheel you see the moment you walk out from the gondolas.
We managed the long lines for the alpine coaster, but having 1 more ride for the little ones would have been really nice. Especially considering you pay the same price for them as you do a 10 yr. old.
