“Don't miss this!”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

Part of Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, the cave tours are guided and a walk through question and answer tour is available as well as a "wild" tour where more extensive caving can be encountered. The tour includes a fair amount of walking and many stairs so it probably is not best for small children or access problems. Well worth the admission and it can be purchased as part of the park admission. Don't forget to tip your guide as they are great!

“A hidden Gem”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

I have lived in this area for years and saw the little Gondola cars, but I never gave it much thought. What an amazing treat! We did the swing shot, the bungee, the zip line and the alpine coaster too many times to count. We also did the cave tour and I can't wait to go back and do the "Wild" tour where you can actually do some spelunking. Buy the all access ticket, wear comfortable shoes and layers for any weather conditions and you will really enjoy this fantastic place.

“Cavern Tour is Worth Your Time”
Reviewed January 13, 2012

The cavern tour was very interesting and informative, and our guide knew his information and geology well. The caverns are very pretty, and you get to see interesting rock and crystal formations as you go along. There is a decent amount of walking and a number of stairs, but nothing that the few younger children in our tour group couldn't handle. All of the kids seemed to find it interesting and not too long either. The floor had a few wet parts, but you could go through the caves in pretty much any kind of normal shoe - in other words, no hiking boots needed (though I would put younger children in gym shoes, just in case).

I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it - it's definitely interesting.
