“Great buffalo burger!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014

The bowl of tomato soup was wonderful, - spicy with jalapeno or something like that, and very filling. My husband raved about their buffalo burgers (and I ate a bunch his fries, which were great also). We were in a hurry to get to the Georgetown Loop Train, and when they realized that, they were very fast with the check etc.

“A lot of these folks gotta be kidding…...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

I'm from North Carolina and have eaten at Lucha's a number during my visits to Colorado….From what I've read from some of the less complimentary reviews a lot of folks are expecting either assembly-line dishes or grand European opulence at McDonald's prices. You'll get neither here, because this is simply a very, very good local restaurant that serves delicious, hardy meals at reasonable prices.
Sometimes service isn't jet-like. C'mon, it's a local restaurant and people and waitresses talk and exchange banter. It's not McDonald's. It's friendly, interesting, and engaging. The bar is set in what seems to be a historical setting--aged, long, and inviting. Movies were, from what I have learned, have been filmed here, for Goodness Sakes.
As far as the food, the quality and portions cannot be beat. Wonderful salads. The best burgers--including bison--on earth. Onion and sweet potato fries. Great mac and cheese. Burritos and chimes. Really, really good food, in large amounts, at a great price.
If folks want fast good, go to a fast good restaurant. If you want escargot and foi gras, whip out your credit card and go high scale. But if you want a really good meal at a really good price and want to leave fat and happy after a relaxing meal amidst a long bar, tables and chairs, local beer, and a flat screen tv with sports, then check out Lucha. You'll leave pleasantly surprised…...

“Yummy food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2014

I have to admit I don't know how i managed to find this place - but i sure am glad i did. its like i slipped, fell, rolled down a hill and then…there i found myself eating delicious homemade mexican after a long day of snowboarding. There was a ton of veggie options - i opted for the tacos with sweet potatoes and more. They also had a homemade veggie burger, which i will have to try next time. My boyfriend went for a legit burger which he reported to be delicious. They also make their own salsa - 7 different kinds i think - the ones i tried were all equally delicious. If you are ever passing by georgetown on i70 be sure to stop here. it is all the way at the end of old main st - defiantly off the main drag- but just a couple min at most off the highway and totally worth your time! YUM YUM :)

“Don't go!”

Worst service and food ever. We tried. We won't be coming back. Who serves raw rellenos? To boot, the beer was warm and we were told to get over it.

“Will go back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2014

We stopped here and had the grilled cheese, and green chili, along with home made tater tots. The chips and salsa were good too. Both chips and salsa is scrach made here, along with most other food they serve. Soups here are good, and not out of a can.
