“Hip Place with Cool Jazz”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2014

Traffic on any given weekend heading to or from Denver is usually snarled esp. during ski season.
Too many people pass by exit 228 not realizing what a treat they are missing in Georgetown. Troia's which is less than 5 mins. from the exit welcomes everyone warmly. When your personal name hangs over the door it states confidence in what you offer. I enjoyed every morsel of their house special lasagna and a glass of wine to enhance the overall experience. On Saturday evenings there is live smooth jazz being played. I'm going to make it a point to stop in and dine every chance I get when zipping along I-70. When leaving town be aware of the locals trying to collect revenue if you speed or roll past the stop sign. Otherwise enjoy dinner at Troia's. James M.

“Touch of Class in Georgetown”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

I swung into Troia's Cafe admittedly because it was the only place in old town that appeared to be open on this cold winter night. What luck!

The server greeted me warmly and promptly - within minutes I felt like I had known her for years! The wine list is a manageable size with nice selection and quality. The house salad goes beyond "plain" and offers up a little creativity and color, and the home-made lasagna is incredible.

The restaurant was pleasantly full of visitors and locals alike. I highly recommend a visit to this delightful little cafe!

“Excellent meal and wonderful service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2014

After trying to determine what to eat near our hotel in the small town of Georgetown, we decided upon Troia. It was the best decision we made! The family portions were supposed to feed a family of 4, but there was enough for a family of 6! Big portions, great tasting spaghetti and salad, and the service was the best I have seen in a long time!

Highly recommend you try it!

“Good Food, Good Folks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

If the shaved prime rib sandwich is on the menu--try it. It's very, very good. The lasagna may be the best I've ever had, and the soups are to die for--especially the mushroom (and I hate mushrooms!). The service is always friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you can often catch some pretty decent live music. What's not to like??

“Quality & Service Sells”

All fresh home made real Italian with wonderful service.
Well worth a stop for a memorial experience. I even learned the secret of a great Cesar Salad.
