Same owner, same location, same everything - just a simple name change. Apparently there is another place with the same name that had it first and they didn't want someone else using it. Result, name change to Dusty Rose Tea Room.

My daughter treated me to High Tea at the Dusty Rose Tea Room. What a delightful experience! I won't repeat what others have said, but their food is all made from scratch (except a piece of chocolate) and delicious. We had 4 pots of tea, and purchased several kinds for Christmas gifts. Potato soup with homemade crackers is served first and it is wonderful. What a fun girls day out!

If you don't want to have "High Tea" you may order from their limited menu. The items included in the High Tea are served al la carte, plus there are a few others items on the menu. I would definitely stop their for lunch on my next trip to Georgetown.

I was visiting and a friend took me to the Tea Room. The owner was a wonderful hostess-dressed to the era and she stopped by our table to tell the history of the location-what a treat! She also took a vintage photo of us in hats and it was provided as a thank you.

The tea selection is amazing-the food absolutely delicious and it is just a nice experience. Cute village and a wonderful thing to do. The location is busy so do try and make reservations.

Wonderful experience!

My cousin and I stopped in Georgetown for a Sunday High Tea at the Dusty Rose. The whole atmosphere is other worldly-you are transported to the Victorian age and given a choice of 36 different teas which come in a teapot with a tea cozy. We were encouraged to pick any teacup we wanted. The selections included tea sandwiches, tiny quiches, deviled eggs, scones with clotted cream and lemon curd, sumptuous cookies and tarts. Jeanette, the owner, dresses the part, and gives a short talk on how the tea room got started and some interesting history of the area. At the end of your meal, she takes a photo of you and prints it in sepia, gives it to you as a souvenir. She runs a hotel above the tea room which is in a historic building, and also has a miniatures shop (things for dollhouses) adjacent to the tearoom. All the food is made on site, except for the chocolate cameos (candy), and there are special events for different seasons.
