Reviewed August 18, 2013

This is a stunning beach and it has a five star hotel which we visited and had some refreshment plus other nice looking apartments...it is very scenic with a iconic Greek church right down on the sea shore....nice tavernas of course

“Best place in Sifnos”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Sheltered from the Meltemi winds Vathi Beach is a little pearl in Greece. All infrastructures are on the beach with 5 quite good Tavernas - the best is To Tsikali on the other side of the Monastery. A small paradise.

“One of the loveliest beachse on Sifnos!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

One of the loveliest beaches on Sifnos - and lots of good tavernas/restaurants to choose from. The beach is sandy and the water shallow. There's a lovely church on one end, and on the other end a place the rent sunbeds and an umbrella for 6-8 euro per day.

“Not much for the public at high tide”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

We arrived near high tide, when the beach becomes quite narrow. This was cool, but the fact that there were no beach loungers or viable areas to sit for the public made it kind of difficult. All the loungers and open places were taken by hotels, cafes, or restaurants that charged 4 euro to use a lounger, or expected you to buy food and drink. Maybe at low tide there is some space for free? We ate lunch in a nice cafe and had a great meal, but the free loungers, clean and convenient toilets and changing rooms at Kamares (sp?) beach made it a better option for us.

“Beautiful clear was great hospitality and food”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

While this place is a little far from the centre of the action in Apollonia it is a great place for a day visit to swim in the clear blue water, walk along the sandy beach and eat great food at Tsikali taverna just past the church sitting at your table on the sand.
