“Gardner Delight”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

On May 19, 2012 we hikers from Colorado Springs decided to see if there were a restaurant open in Gardner. And yes, there was! We found the delightful Wildflower Cafe. The food was delicious and there was homemade apple pie. Also, the owner talked to us for quite awhile about the business and about her having gone to school across the street at Gardner Elementary. I wish this restaurant a successful summer!

“Simple Delicious Food from Friendly People”
Reviewed August 2, 2011

At the beginning of a four-day trip in the mountains, my family stopped here for breakfast and found the place charming. Their menu is simple which I like in restaurants because its says they're focusing on quality. And Wildflower does that. The green chile on the Huevos Rancheros I ordered was spicy and yummy! Prices are affordable. I found out they use local eggs, vegetables and homemade baked goods. Plus wifi is free. In a hurry? Stop in a get a $2.50 breakfast burrito -- they're well worth it! Between Walsenburg and Westcliffe, this place is your only option and fortunately it's a gem.
