3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2010

The rooms were very small. It was being in a large closet. It would be better to get a room with a double bed. The scenery around the area is fantastic. There are nice places to eat or to relax near a lake. Over all not impressed with this hotel.

We went skiing at Copper Mountain and decided to stay the night here. The room was about the size of a cruise ship stateroom. The tv only had 2 channels. The decor looked like it had not been updated since the 70's. The manager was very helpful and helped us get a full refund from Expedia. We saved $20 by driving to Denver at 10 at night and stayed at the downtown Hampton Inn. (MUCH BETTER!)

Went skiing at Keystone and Breck and stayed here for 3 nights. Best deal around town...Only $100 a night during peak ski season. You can't beat it. Breakfast had the basics...plus mini omlets.

Only a 10 minute drive to either ski resort and short drive to downtown Frisco.

I stayed at the Ramada Frisco for my recent ski vacation to Breckenridge and really enjoyed it. My single queen room was spacious and very clean (maid service every day), with a very comfortable bed and lots of amenities including a flat screen TV. The bathroom was huge as well as newly and tastefully tiled with new fixtures. The shower with different massage settings was worth gold after a day's skiing. The hotel throughout could do with new carpets though.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Karin at the front desk helped me out a lot with the many questions I had on the first day.
Breakfast wasn't so good, but it did the trick. As with every hotel, there is some noise, but as I am a light sleeper at the best of times, I brought earplugs and slept soundly every night.
It takes about half an hour to get to Breckenridge on the free bus, and it's about a ten minute walk to the transfer center. The buses ran every half hour, hourly at night, which does require some planning.

The rooms are small and there is not much space for luggage. A credit is that you get a secure ski locker to use while you are there. The hotel is pet friendly which was not for me. The carpets need replacing and the photo on the internet site makes it look better than it is. The general vibe was rundown. To access Frisco or ony of the nearby ski resorts a car or the shuttle buses are needed. The hotel is on the highway so it is ieasy to find. There is a hot tub but it is outside - not a good thing when it is snowing. There is nothing for young chilkdren or teenagers to do except watch tv in the room.

We specifically chose this hotel because it was pet friendly hotel. Online their pet policy seemed ideal compared to the other hotels we had looked at. Our plan was to ski 2 days in a work shop we had spent a lot of money to go to. They booked all rooms with dogs around us. A hallway of barking dogs and all they can do is complain about he noise. And they booked the rooms with dogs closest to the front desk! After being locked out of our room several times by a deactivated card we were scolded about the noise and told we can't leave them alone it is their policy. They don't tell you until you get there??????? Put it on your website! We would never have chosen this hotel if we knew this. So we missed half of our ski workshop because they kicked us out and demanded we leave the slopes and check out immediately. Plus they were very rude, confrontational, and argumentative. So much for the customer is right. A brighter manager might have moved us to the second floor and spaced out the dog occupied rooms.
