I've spent the night here twice as halfway points between Chicago and California. Major plus for being pet friendly, and in an area with awesome walking paths. I've had good stays both times, though my last stay we had an unresolved issue with the TV (tv didn't get NBC, which was a major letdown to a hockey starved family desparate to watch the Stanley Cup final.) We ended up watching the game on our iPad, so I can applaud the wifi connection.

We spent the night here on the evening of July 4th, after spending the day in Frisco, which is a really cute mountain town. My husband and I normally don't stay in Holiday Inns (okay, I admit to being a little spoiled...), but Frisco didn't seem to have any hotels of higher quality. It was pretty much what I expected. The room was clean and the bed was well made, so I guess I can't complain too much. But with our room on the first floor, the view of the parking lot was a lot less than to be desired. Because we had to keep our curtain closed, it made the room feel a lot more closed in than it was. The drain in the bathtub was broken, so the water didn't drain well. And, the shower head wasn't operating properly either. The towels were white, but pretty dingy looking. Overall, the shower experience - not so great.

As I said, the room was clean, so I won't complain too much. But if you are looking for more of a luxury experience, this is not your place.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not on the first floor.

Thank you Michele for your review of the hotel. We appreciate your honestly regarding the shower and are glad to take care of these issues for you during your stay. Our maintenance team works very hard to keep our hotel in top shape. In our area, our value is one of the things we most pride ourselves on. We offer air conditioning and an indoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness center. We hope you will chose us again should you visit Frisco. Thank you again for your review.

I haved stayed at this hotel twice within the last 12 months. I think its location its perfect if you want to enjoy all the sky resorts around Summit County. It is close to Breckenridge, Cooper Mountain, Vail , etc. There are lots of businesses in the area to go and eat or get groceries, or to buy things you might need during your trip.
We didn't spend that much time in the hotel, since we were always leaving early in the morning and coming back at night ready for a shower and bed.
I highly recommend it if you want a nice clean location close to all the area attractions.

Last minute booking got a fair price. Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Fridge and microwave in the room. The checkin staff was great. However a slow draining tub never was resolved after a trip to the front desk and the young girl looking like I was crazy for asking for it to be fixed. The staff at checkout couldn't figure out how to use the computer. Weird. Maybe because it was a holiday weekend.

My wife and I were attending a small convention in Denver, we flew in a couple of days early to spend a couple of days in the Breckenridge area as we had honeymooned in Breckenridge 24 years ago. I am a Platnium Priority Club member and try to stay at Holiday Inns. Frisco is close to Breakenridge and this hotle had high marks, and a price that was great, so booked it. The reserveation called for a mountain view.
We checked in the the clerk was very nice and he recommended a brewpub in a nearby town (Dillon Dam Brewing) for dinner, which was spot on! We got to our room on the 1st floor of the regular building. We had a slight view of the mountains, but more of a view of the rear parking lot and dumpsters. I should have complained, but we were tired and hungry. The next day we went out sightseeing leaving at about 9am. When we got back to the hotel at about 8pm, our room had not been made up. It was not a huge deal, but I did need to the lobby to get more coffee cups. A real disappointment. I would have thought Platnium member would have meant something here, but I guess not. Not sure if I would stay here again or not.

We recently spent a night at the Holiday Inn in Summit County. The staff was very helpful and we had absolutely no problems checking in. Our reservations always go smoothly as we make them on the Priority Club website.

The room was on the small side so space was a bit of an issue but the bathroom was nice and large and easy to use. Because these rooms were not originally built to be ADA compliant it's difficult to reappoint them and make them completely accessible. For a place to stay for an evening it wasn't bad and the restaurant that is connected to is really nice.

I would suggest that they change the bass of the beds in their ADA compliant/wheelchair accessible rooms so that instead of having them sit on a solid base they would have traditional bed frames on wheels or a more open structure underneath it. Many wheelchair users use a type of lift called a Hoyer Lift to transfer out of our wheelchairs. In order to use it to get in and out of bed the two "legs" of the lift slide underneath the bed on it's own wheels. The bed bases that are solid don't allow the use of this device and it makes transferring very difficult. I'd be happy to provide more information if you need it.

Thanks!

The air conditioner was broken in the room, the toilet seat was broken, the ice maker on the third floor was broken and not working, and the room was dirty.I ask to have the manager call me and no call, Big surprise here! I also filed a complaint with the corporate office.
Please go down the road and stay somewhere else as this is a dive with a capital DDDDDDD.
Good luck
Thanks
