We stopped by after a great meal for dessert with the kids. Their homemade ice cream was among the best we've found. Everyone left satisfied with the creamy taste and generous portions.

Stoped here for lunch on our way through Frisco. Saw they had a tent set up and were serving beer and grilling burgers, chicken and pulled pork. So we ordered some food, sat outside on the covered patio and played cornhole they had set up for a couple of hours. Pulled pork sandwich was really good along with waffle fries. If in town and the weather is nice this is a great place to hang out.

We stopped for a snack. I had wonderful homemade Peaches and Cream ice cream. My wife found remarkable homemade fudge. As she ordered, a new pan of fudge came from the kitchen. A companion had a fantastic piece of homemade cherry pie. The establishment had other offerings and an outside eating area.

We stumbled upon the Foote's Rest due to it's proximity to our hotel. wow.
Every flavor of fudge was incredibly well done. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, and I love the elements that show the original use of the building (a post office).
If you have a sweet tooth, you will not be disappointed.

My family and I LOVED this place during our recent trip to Colorado. We were actually staying in Breckenridge, but over July 4th, the restaurants in Breck were loaded, so we came here twice. Once for ice cream only and once for the BBQ. The ice cream is phenomenal, enough said. The BBQ was tasty and the best part was eating outside and enjoying a beer, while the kids played horseshoe. You could also catch the evening's baseball game on the outdoor TV. One night, there was also a guy playing some standards on the guitar, which just added to the chill vibe. Loved Foote's Rest!
