“Morsels of Delight!”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

Morsels of Delight!

When in Frisco, enjoy all things unusual – like Skiveers! Not really a “fast food” place, but a small trailer/food cart where you can enjoy some of the most unusual and delectable snacks in town! You can watch them prepare freshly cooked your order with chopsticks and when they are done, you will enjoy!

We had the little round pancake balls with beef & havarti and also tried the ham -- both were so mouthwatering! Although there were tables outside, it was cold, so we ate in the car and really enjoyed their great coffee to keep warm.

Then came dessert – OMG YUM!! – caramel chocolate with REAL whipped cream! (I’m a whipped cream snob and I know the real thing!) Lots of other delights to try if you can afford the calories! Gotta fit in those new ski clothes, ya know!

Don’t drive by this little yellow trailer becuz you’ll miss having some real treats!

“Unique tastey little breakfast balls”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is an unusual little walk up trailer/ wagon/food cart, not really a restaurant but with seating and one or 2 picnic tables. Next door to the Moose Jaw restaurant and bar.

They have a limited menu of these awesome yet small finger food custom made omelet balls about the size of a golf ball. They are made fresh before your eyes. They also have these yummy little balls made from what looks like pancake batter with fillings. They look like a large donut hole with fruit and things.

The serving is small so you are not going to get too full but will hold you over with a cup of coffee until you find lunch.

Coffee was a bit weak so I recommend going across the street to Coffee roasters.
I recommend this if you are bit peckish and need a hot snack to go.

“Fun food friendly staff”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

This little food cart on main street in Frisco had some of the most interesting fast food we have had in a while. The round pancake balls came with everything from salmon to raspberries and chocolate in them. After trying a free sample of the raspberry/white chocolate (YUM!), we ordered three "savory" skeevers with beef and havarti -- it was interesting like a warm beef sandwich. The real treat, however, was the dessert rolls. My daughter decided on the the caramel & chocolate with whip cream on top. I got the blackberry and milk chocolate -- both were delicious.

“Flawed Concept and Poor Execution”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

The amount of food carts is growing exponentially in the US and I believe the reason is that customers can walk up and grab some tasty food, eat it on site or take it to go. Skiveers disappoints on both conditions.. the service as agonizingly slow and the food is not tasty.

Once the order is taken, the owner painstakingly creates the skiveers in something that resembles a muffin tin using chopsticks to manipulate the dough. Just watching that is fairly disconcerting. Although we were the only customers, it took 10 to 15 minutes to receive our three untasty morsels.

The owners are very friendly and pleasant and I wish them well, but I do not agree that Danish pancakes are the right food to sell in a food cart.

“Skiveers- Great fun, Great food.”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

This is one of the fun little trailer, that is fully as good as all the fancy foodtrucks we see on TV. They make Ebleskivers, little balls of food to eat by hand. They have several types of omelets, and other yummy bites. Definitely worth stopping at!

It is part of the Frisco Experience, not to be missed!!
