“Not an authentic Italian restaurant”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

We are visiting from Scotland for a couple of weeks and after a great days' skiing in Breckenridge we were all ready for our evening meal having booked Tuscato the evening before. The person who greeted us was genuinely welcoming (the owner?) as was our waiter. Some of the group had appetisers which were good. Sadly, the main meals were a complete mixed bag of quality. The sausage dish was very good as was the chicken with lemon. The steak (last one available @ 7:30pm?) was not good, the spaghetti with tomato sauce was not at all tasty (all italian food should at least be tasty), and the beef lasagne was just plain terrible (and couldn't be eaten). Without asking, the waiter apologised for the quality of the lasagne and did not charge us; he also removed the 18% standard service charge for our party size. Whilst this was a good recovery tactic sadly, it won't encourage us to return. My suggestion / message to the owner would be, perhaps reconsider the authenticity of your restaurant and demand your chef gets back to basics in cooking classic italian dishes.

“tasty food and good wine list”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

our small group of friends enjoyed a very good meal and wine after a day of skiing in summit county. this restaurant is right on main street in the middle of town. it is easy to get to. the kitchen understands the nuances of itialian cuisine and delivers a delectable meal. the owner, drops by to assure that your meal and wine is to your liking. this restaurant deserves a return trip for us all.

“Italiano Bellisimo !! Scusi the Spelling”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

My notes (and memory) remind me that this was one of the BEST meals I've had , Italian, Chinese, French or otherwise !! We didn't have a booking and the place was pretty full so we were placed in the "Romantic" section! Pretty funny for 2 mates of over 35yrs standng but we laughed it off. The meal was exceptional , from the bread to the salads to the mains. All served by a friendly staff who were quick to top up glasses and basically spoil us. The whole experience was warm & friendly as we watched the snow fall , the NHL over the bar area and looked forward to tomorrows ski after a wonderful meal (and pretty inexpensive too )

Not sure why some people gave such a poor rating. We have eaten there several times and have had good service and food! Would recommend this restaurant!

“Good Italian at reasonable price”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Good food, comfortable setting and reasonable prices. I had the proscuitto wrapped scallops with spinich salad and penne pasta. Both had large portions. Although busy, the service was good. Make a reservation during the weekend. It is located on Main St in downtown Frisco.
